Dr. Sundberg is the President Emeritus of Spectral Sciences, Inc. In addition to corporate management, he has been active in research involving the development of hyperspectral target detection and identification algorithms, spectral and temporal scene simulation, rapid real-time IR target imaging models, high temperature optical models for reentry vehicle ablation products, high resolution line-by-line radiation transport models for calculating non-equilibrium infrared vacuum core plume radiation, and modeling of atmospheric infrared radiance phenomena.
