Dr. Hoskin joined Spectral Sciences, Inc. as a Senior Scientist in November 2024. His graduate research focused on performing high fidelity, time accurate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations of transitional hypersonic flows with shockwave boundary layer interactions to improve the ability to accurately predict the aerodynamic performance of hypersonic vehicles and propulsion systems. He is interested in both CFD code development and the application of CFD to challenging engineering problems. At SSI, he is applying his expertise in modeling unsteady flows to a variety of projects.
