R&D Services: Computational Chemistry and Physics

As a result of recent advances in computational speed and numerical algorithms, computational chemistry and physics can increasingly attack and solve complex real-world problems. SSI scientists are leading experts in the development and application of state-of-the-art computational tools for non-equilibrium gas dynamics, energetic materials, catalysis, gas and condensed phase reaction rates, and gas-surface interactions. We work closely with academia, government, and private industry to improve our modeling and computational capabilities for analyzing and interpreting measurements, and in designing the next generation of sensors and sensor algorithms.
